Membership Information

Persons wishing to join Redwood Bowmen submit an application for membership. There is a $5 processing fee. Applicants must then attend and participate in one regular Club Meeting, one three-hour Work Day and one regular Club Shoot. All three can be done in one weekend. Club meetings are at 9:00 A.M. on the Saturday before the second Sunday of each month.
Work Days follow the Club Meeting; Work Days start after the Club Meeting and finish when the designated work is done, usually around noon. Club Shoots are the second Sunday of every month; registration starts at 8:30 and the shoot commences at 9:30.

For new members there is a $50 initiation fee. The $5 processing fee is deducted from the initiation fee. The yearly dues for an individual membership are $95. The yearly dues for a family membership, which includes two adults and any children under the age of 18, are $125. The club membership year runs from March 1st through the end of February. Dues for a new member are prorated according to the month they join and are paid along with the initiation fee. Membership is non-assessable.

The Redwood Bowmen Association has been serving the community for over 65 years by operating and maintaining the best public archery range in the San Francisco Bay Area. Membership in the Redwood Bowmen Association is a gateway to organized and professional archery. Besides the shoots and social functions the club offers, a new member will soon find a host of other tournaments to attend throughout the region and state. Many Redwood Bowmen members have participated in national and international competitions. Most importantly, novice and inexperienced archers alike are welcome at Redwood Bowmen.
