
Membership Information Persons wishing to join the Redwood Bowmen submit this application for membership. There is a $5.00 processing fee. Applicants then must attend and participate in one regular club meeting, one work party and a regular club shoot. Club shoots are the second Sunday of the month at 9:30am. Registration starts at 8:30am. Club meetings are the second Friday of the month at 8:00pm and they are held at the Redwood Bowmen Clubhouse. Workdays are on the Saturday of the club shoot weekend from 9:00am. After the three requirements are completed the applicant will be sworn in at the next regular club meeting. These requirements must be started within 90 days of the date of the application and completed within 150 days of the date of application For new members, there is an initiation fee of $50.00. The $5.00 processing fee is deducted from the initiation fee. The yearly dues for an individual membership are $110.00. The yearly dues for a family membership, which includes two adults and any children under the age of 18 are $125.00. The club membership year runs from March 1st through the end of February. Dues for a new membership are prorated according to the month they join and are paid along with the initiation fee. Membership is a non-assessable. Membership Benefits Use of the clubhouse and kitchen facilities (Clubhouse key, TV, restrooms, fireplace, lockers, bow case storage, bow tuning and arrow building equipment, snacks, hot and cold beverages, telephone). “Target Talk” – Redwood Bowmen's monthly newsletter (includes your Club Shoot scores, average, handicap, and “20's” tracking). Exclusive use of 42 target range on Club Shoot Sunday (only the practice/sight-in area is open to the public). Yearly Awards Banquet (held at a Bay Area restaurant). Anniversary Dinner (catered after a Club Shoot in the spring). National Field Archery Association Achievement Awards. Expert member advice on archery equipment, target archery, and bow hunting. The Redwood Bowmen Association has been serving the community by operating and maintaining the best public archery range in the Bay Area for over 60 years. Redwood Bowmen also offers a youth development which is available to organized groups by reservation. Membership in Redwood Bowmen is the gateway to organized archery. Besides the shoots and social functions that the club offers, a new member will soon find a host of other tournaments to attend throughout the region and state. Many Redwood members have participated in national and international competitions. Most importantly, Novice and experienced archers alike are welcome at Redwood Bowmen.
